The Assistant Coach Contract Template is for use by business coaches and life coaches or those who offer coaching groups as part of their online course or program. It is for use Australia wide and can be used in New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia, Tasmania, the Australian Capital Territory and the Northern Territory.

The Assistant Coach Contract Template includes terms around:

·        The details of the coach;

·        What the coach will be doing;

·        How much you will pay the assistant coach;

·        confidentiality;

·        ownership of intellectual property – making sure you own your coaching resources and the assistant coach is able to use them but not take them during the time they are hired;

·        details how you and the coach are to communicate;

·        is a contractor agreement – the assistant coach should have their own business and be providing you with contract support (if this is an employment relationship please refer to our employment agreement templates);

·        contains a non-solicit and non-compete clause to make sure the assistant coach can’t poach your clients that they build a relationship with during their coaching duties with your organisation;

·        covers access to your IT and other systems by the assistant coach;

·        limitation of your liability; and

·        general legal terms and conditions.

How to use:

·        Complete the information as prompted by red text in the schedule to the agreement and the signing clauses;

·        badge with your logo in the header (though note we retain copyright of the base terms and you are not permitted to pass them to others for their use as our licence to you extends to your own use); and
