Life Coach Contract Template

The Life Coach Contract Template is to be given to clients and agreed to prior to the first session they have with you. This contract outlines the terms of the coaching agreement for both you and your client and outlines the details including start date, scope and payment terms.

There is also included general and more broadly applicable legal components including:

• The obligations of you as the coach

• The obligations of the client

• Protection of your intellectual property as a coach - all those resources you share with your client are valuable and need to be treated as such, especially if you coach other coaches;

• Disclaimers to limit claims against you, noting that it is your student’s responsibility to do the work and implement what they learn during your coaching sessions;

Note: While you can disclaim liability to some extent, your liability under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) remains in place for faulty goods or service or misleading claims, and deceptive conduct. This template is provided on that basis.
