When you are a medical or allied health VA in Australia, there are special things you need to know about and reassure your medical practice or allied health practice clients about including:
your compliance with the Australian Privacy Principles and the Privacy Act;
confidentiality;
data security and protection including data security measures;
use of cloud practice management software; and
use of project management software by the VA as it concerns the client details of the medical or allied health practice.

This addendum is designed for established VAs who already have a general agreement that needs supplementing with the above issues.It is a general template drafted for Australian laws.
How to use this template:
Add the details of the VA and the Practice where the red text is included in the document (keeping a master copy of this template to use for other clients).
The VA should ensure this addendum is added to their agreement as Annexure A.
For existing clients it can be provided by email with a cover letter indicating it is designed to supplement the existing agreement.
For new clients, it should become a permanent Annexure A/ Addendum to the Virtual Assistant Agreement.
