About the Talent Agency Agreement Template
The Talent Agency Agreement Template is a template agreement between a talent representative (agent and manager) and the talent they represent (for example, musician, performer, artist etc)

· This Template is designed to be used for performers for work in dance, film, television, advertising, commercials, music, radio, theatre, live appearances, internet, modelling or any other media.
· Is able to be used for child and adult talent.
· Note that in NSW there is further legislation regulating talent contained in the Entertainment Industry Act 2013 (NSW) (EIMA) and this Agreement refers to that legislation and uses the EIMA and in particular section 10 of the EIMA as a benchmark to apply across the rest of Australia.
What does the Talent Agency Agreement cover?

Performer Details
Allows for customisation of the Services the Agent will perform
Provides for a clear agent fee on commission basis;
Allows you to add the state of Australia that it applies to in the table in the agreement (it covers New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania, Western Australia, Northern Territory and the Australian Capital Territory)
Makes mention of the Entertainment Industry Act in NSW (EIMA Act) and complies with section 10 of the EIMA Act.
appointment of the Agent;
includes a cooling off period
includes agent responsibilities and obligations
includes performer or artist responsibilities and obligations
regulates fees, finances and financial statements
includes a GST clause
is for an exclusive agent appointment (ie only one agent per performer)
permits agent to act for multiple performers
