The Model Release Form Template is for use by business owners or entrepreneurs where models or people other than you are used in your photos, videos or other art.
It is for use Australia wide and can be used in New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia, Tasmania, the Australian Capital Territory and the Northern Territory.
The Model Release Template includes terms around:
· Your ability to use the content and photos and/ or videos the models appear in however you wish to publish it or edit it, including editing, redistribute the photos or video and use them for other purpose;
· Confirms that the “model” will not be entitled to royalties or fees or to stop you using the photos, video or art in publicity; and
· Includes a waiver and release in your favour.
Note that you can pay a “model” or the model could agree to be photographed at an event, workshop or function.
How to use: After purchase you will need to add the details in the document where prompted in red text, in particular:
· the details of your business; and
· the payment or other value the model has received in exchange for use of the photos (it could be that they grant this right for free, but thought should be given to this).
