About the Tutoring Agreement Template (also called the Tutor Contract Template)
The Tutoring Agreement template includes:
a client registration form containing client and guardian details (where client is under 18), student details, tutor details, working with children (or equivalent) check number, tutoring location (can be online or at a location in person), price and the governing law;
terms of tutoring which contain the contract details including obligations of each party, expectations of parents/ guardians and children, payments, guidelines around tutoring sessions and emergency contacts, delays and cancellations, pandemic provisions (if something like covid happens again), how to end the agreement, disclaimers around no guarantee of academic results or other milestones and general legal clauses required in such a contract.
This template:
· requires you to complete details in the document where prompted by the red text, in particular your business or company name and ABN, the tutoring details including the student, subjects to be studied, working with children (or equivalent) and more;
· is set out in a client registration form with terms and conditions attached; and
· is a general template drafted for Australian laws.
Implementing this document
The Tutoring Agreement Template is designed to be filled out and signed before you commence tutoring. You could add the terms attached to the Client Registration Form to an electronic form version of the Client Registration such as JotForm, Typeform or Google Forms.
