The bookkeeping service agreement template is a template designed specifically for bookkeepers.
It is for use Australia wide and can be used in New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia, Tasmania, the Australian Capital Territory and the Northern Territory.
The bookkeeping service agreement template clearly sets out:
· Your details;
· Your clients details (customisable for each client with our word document);
· Your services in detail;
· Your excluded services in detail including options to select whether you exclude things like audit, review, identification of irregularities or fraud and whether you are a BAS Agent or Tax Agent and can lodge BAS/ tax returns;
· The price of your services and whether you will charge a retainer each month/ week or fortnight or if you charge an hourly rate and your payment terms;
· Your obligations to your client;
· Client obligations to you, including providing all necessary information, instructions and authorisation;
· GST clause (to apply if you are registered for GST and required to add GST to your invoices);
· Confidentiality clause;
· Limits to your liability and disclaimer clause;
· Termination clause; and
· General clauses required in service agreements.
How to use:
After purchase you will need to add the details in the document where prompted in red text, in particular:
· the details of your business;
· the State/ Territory/ Country;
· your client’s details
· details of your included and excluded services; and
· your price and payment terms
